Flint Town United Ladies FC was formed last season with a squad of 13 players, they competed in the North Wales Women Football League – East & finished a respectable 9th place.
This season the squad has doubled with some very talented players on board, they are currently top of the East side of the league and remain undefeated. The team also participate in the Betty Pickering Cup, where they are currently undefeated in the group stage.
The girls have such talent on and off the pitch, the team comprises of engineers, prison officers, prison link support officer, real estate agent, painter, Personal trainer, and a regional director to name a few! They all work full time and give up their spare time to train and play most weekends.
It’s great for Flint Town and they have a great following who come and support them when they play at home.
